GATER’S CUSTOM RODS WARRANTY INFORMATION!
For all CUSTOM OPEN WATER RODS & CUSTOM ICE RODS, Gater’s Custom Rods offers a 1 year limited coverage warranty against manufacture/craftsmanship defects, meaning only the component that failed due to defects or craftsmanship is covered, not the whole rod . Rods built with a branded Rod blank(s) are subject to the blank manufacturers warranty conditions Each warranty claim will be addressed individually by Gater’s Custom Rods.
For PRODUCTION RODS, PRODUCTION ICE RODS & LIMITED EDITION RODS & ICE RODS, Gater’s Custom Rods offers a 1 year limited warranty against manufacture/craftsmanship defects, Each warranty claim will be addressed individually by Gater’s Custom Rods. Production rods built with a branded Rod blank(s) are subject to the blank manufacturers warranty conditions (see below).
Mishandling, Abuse or Improper Storage is not covered under warranty. WARRANTY IS VOID if any of our handcrafted or production solid carbon ice rods or any custom/ production ice rod not designed for jaw jackers is put in any jaw jacker system or similar device or any system that keeps the ice rod bent under strain. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR EQUIPMENT!
COMPONENT WARRANTY: Gater’s Custom Rods of a 1 year limited warranty on all GCR components. This includes GCR Blanks, Guides, Reel Seats and grips. Brand name components like American Tackle, Fuji, Alps, and Seaguide are subject to their warranty conditions, please refer to thoses manufactures website.
There is a 60 day limited coverage warranty on all clearance pre-made open water rods, ice rods & components on clearance!
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You must provide proof of purchase
2. You must be the original owner of the rod being warranted
3. All broken pieces must be sent to Gater’s Custom Rods to be inspected before any form of warranty is given. (You will be responsible for shipping costs to and from our shop)
MHX Blanks comes with a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty against defects. Must register Serial Number(SN#) with manufacture at www.fishMHX.com/warranty for warranty to be valid. See website for warranty conditions. Rod mishandling or abuse not covered under warranty.
AMERICAN TACKLE & OTHER PREMIUM BRAND BLANKS come with a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty. Please go to the blank manufacturers website for more details. Mishandling or abuse not covered under warranty.
CRB & OTHER UNBRANDED BLANKS is covered under the 1 year limited coverage warranty mentioned above. Mishandling or abuse not covered under warranty.
For breakage determined to have occurred due to craftsmanship or material non-conformance (defects), Gater’s Custom Rods will at the companies’ discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge.
Breakage deemed to be the result of normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, alteration, accidental damage, neglect will, or damage caused by storing rods in a boat rod locker(s) or ice rod cases hard or soft at the companies’ discretion, be repaired or replaced for a specific fee. A full estimate will be provided for your approval before any fees are levied. Lost or stolen rods are not covered by this warranty. Gater’s Custom Rods reserves the right to refuse service on any claim. It is the customers/Anglers responsibility to maintain & take care of their equipment
